Gerber Accoustics Selects SLS International for Major Corporate Events System |
SPRINGFIELD, Mo., Nov. 11 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- SLS International Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: SITI) announced today that Gerber Acoustics, a Florida- based production company had selected and purchased from SLS Audio, a division of SLS International, a large SLS RLA/2 Line Array System for use as its main corporate events system.
Owner Chas Gerber, a former Front of House Engineer for such notables as Bruce Springsteen and Patty LaBelle, elected to replace the company's previous system with the SLS RLA/2 Line Array System after hearing the system perform in an outdoor amphitheatre. "After hearing the system configured with almost no setup time or tailoring, I was amazed at the coverage and quality of the performance," said Mr. Gerber. "The system has an amazing amount of real bass without the use of a sub system, but the obvious lack of distortion is clearly what differentiates the systems from others we have seen. I spend as many as twelve hours a day at the console mixing these productions and the listener fatigue with conventional systems can really become a problem. The ribbon drivers in the SLS System alleviate many of these concerns."
The once rock and roll touring engineer now finds the majority of his business coming from a variety of corporate entities. "Most of our business revolves around large corporate events, trade shows and meetings that cater to attendees numbering in the thousands", said Mr. Gerber." The company's next large show is another national corporate show in the Events Center at the Mirage Hotel in Las Vegas, where the RLA/2 system as well as the highly acclaimed SLS LS8695 Columnar Line Array will be utilized."
"Gerber Acoustics exemplifies our target market in the pro audio industry," said Jeff Lowry Director of Marketing for SLS Audio. "There are literally thousands of production companies in the U.S. and the system of choice is clearly the line array. Our line array is proving time and again to be not only more intelligible and musical, but due to its compact size also easier to rig and configure." Mr. Lowry further stated that he sees an increase in product brand name awareness and industry wide visibility. |
