Xylan Technologies Selects SLS Audio for State-of-the-Art Night Club
SPRINGFIELD, Mo., Oct. 29 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- SLS Audio, a division of SLS International, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: SITI), announced today that Canadian-based Xylan Technologies Incorporated has selected and installed the SLS Ribbon Driver equipped loudspeakers in Vancouver's Newly finished, Gorg-O-Mish after hours night club.

"I had become so tired of listening to conventional compression driver loaded speaker systems that I began a search for systems utilizing something newer and came across SLS's innovative speakers," said Dave James, Xylan's designer of seventeen years. Mr. James further stated that due to the high sound pressure levels associated with today's trance and house music, the music of choice for the Gorg-O-Mish, systems, utilizing normal compression technology, would soon become fatiguing to patrons. "I wanted this system to be as clean as possible while still being able to deliver the necessary high sound pressure level so critical to a venue such as this," said the designer.

The Gorg-O-Mish or "Twilight" is a new concept in nightclubs targeted at the "after-hours" crowd in the entertainment sector of downtown Vancouver. The venue, which has a cover charge of $25 per person and includes such highlights as polished black marble tile, stainless steel fixtures and an eight-hundred pound concrete turntable platform, the Gorg-O-Mish features a $150,000.00, state of-the-art sound system that utilize the SLS 112R ribbon loaded loudspeakers suspended over a thirty by fifteen foot dance floor. "I can stand on the dance floor running full tilt and still hear a conversation which reflects well on the quality of the sound system," said James. "No where else in the city can audio quality like this be found."

"Dave's enthusiasm is readily apparent," said SLS Marketing Director Jeff Lowry. "I speak to contractors and consultants from across the globe on a daily basis and the one common denominator is their level of excitement. While we are expecting to begin an international marketing campaign in January, I believe it is clearly the unmistakable quality of the product that is driving our success."
