Products Make Their Debut at European Expo |
New SLS distributor Martek UK displayed the SLS products for a record number of attendees at the largest annual Home Theater trade show in Europe. SLS International, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: SITI) today announced that its Home Theater products made their CEDIA (Custom Design and Installation Association) UK EXPO debut recently held in Brighton Beach, United Kingdom. The show was attended by a record number of exhibitors, dealers and audio customers. The new SLS distributor, Martek UK displayed the SLS HT8R and PSS12 model home theater speakers in all available finishes.
On hand to assist in presenting the SLS products to the European marketplace was SLS' International Sales representative firm, Clarity AV International, Inc. "The SLS products drew tremendous interest from many of the Home Theater and custom installers," said Mark Cichowski of Clarity AV. "I recall one attendee saying, the market needs a speaker like this, the European market is saturated by a lot of me-too products. The unique qualities of the SLS speakers, such as its ribbon tweeter, give me an opportunity to offer a high quality and high output product that performs like no others."
In Holland, Martek Electronics B.V., a twenty-year-old company with many very prominent audio product lines, has been distributing the SLS line since early in 2003. "Everyone that has heard the SLS speakers has been amazed," said Willem Bok, President of Martek. "When I was at CES (the Consumer Electronics Show, Las Vegas, N.V. in January 2003), I did not want to stop listening and kept asking to hear more. When the SLS representative brought me to the SLS booth I did not expect much. I walked out of the booth asking to represent the products in my country. Also, the SLS products will soon be reviewed by the top magazine in Holland as well."
Clarity AV International has just completed a trip to other areas in Europe as well. "SLS is drawing interest from companies in Germany, France, Switzerland and the Scandinavian countries -- Denmark, Sweden and Norway. Agreement details and negotiations are underway," said Mr. Cichowski.
"This seems to be the tip of the iceberg with respect to branding our products in the European market," stated John Gott, President of SLS International. "Clarity has just begun to introduce our products there and already we are seeing very good response and comments. We know that the European audio buyers are critical about their purchases and to gain their acceptance and approval is important to our goal of being a leader in the global audio industry. Our state-of-the-art technology is unique among the elite of our industry and this introduction to the multi-billion dollar European audio marketplace should deliver rapidly growing revenues in the years to come." |
